Vikash has 25 years of experience in clinical medicine and life sciences. Beginning in 1990, for the first 10 years of his career he practiced as a medical doctor with a special interest in psychiatry.
From 2000 to 2014, Vikash worked in leadership positions in pharmaceutical/healthcare companies, including experience in North America, Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia. His career in pharmaceuticals started as head of new business development for Aspen Pharmacare in South Africa.
Between 2003 and 2010, Vikash started a pharmaceutical company in South Africa, Venturepharm (Pty) Ltd., with the J&J Group as co- shareholders. This entity formed a joint venture with India’s leading pharmaceutical company, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd., for South Africa and the southern African region. Vikash was CEO from inception until he exited to move to Florida. Vikash is closely involved with noted golfer Ernie Els’ foundation, Els for Autism, which is building a $32 million state-of-the-art autism center in Jupiter, Florida.
Vikash has established pharmaceutical operations and has developed lasting business development relationships around the globe, with pharmaceutical/healthcare knowledge and experience in emerging markets as well as in North America. In addition to his medical degrees, he completed an advanced management program in health through the Manchester Business School and holds an MBA from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. In 2015, Vikash completed an accredited neuroscience-based executive coaching program at Harvard Faculty.
