Kay Cioffi is a Partner in the Technology Practice across the Financial Services and Education sectors.
Kay’s focus in technology stems from having witnessed how computing can transform businesses, address social issues and elevate individual lives. In her 20+ years in executive search, Kay has partnered with a wide range of US and international clients to address their corporate technology talent gaps and succession. The shortage in computing talent is greater than ever. Kay and the Ward Howell International team have the experience, resources and diverse network to deliver solutions and enable our clients to further innovate and empower.
Previously Kay was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Sequitor Partners where she provided executive recruitment and strategic executive branding services for technology-driven clients. She was also the advisor to the Board of Directors of the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT). In this role, Kay was responsible for the board recruitment and investment partnerships with companies such as AT&T, Bloomberg, Dell EMC, Electronic Arts, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Merck and several others. Prior to establishing Sequitor Partners, Kay was with Heidrick & Struggles where she recruited C-level executives and board directors across industries from financial services to tech sectors. Kay started her career at Electronic Data Systems where she was part of the founding team that launched the company’s global solutions business.
An active volunteer, Kay serves on Mercy College’s Advisory Board of Mathematics, Computer Sciences and Cybersecurity. She previously served on the Board of Trustees of Mercy College and the Founders’ Board of the Girls Inc. of Westchester County. In 2017, she was honored by the Eileen Fisher Leadership Institute for her role in empowering young women. Kay graduated from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, and attended the Women’s Director Development program at the Kellogg School of Management. She lives in the New York area with her two daughters and husband.
